Back Behind The Lens

At the age of 25, I purchased a one way ticket from Sydney to London and spent the next decade travelling, capturing travel and wildlife shooting Fujifilm transparencies on a used Canon A1.

After a long break, I returned to photography in 2018, choosing to shoot with the Fuji ASPC X system. In 2022, I moved to Medium Format, choosing the Fujifilm GFX System.

The Back Behind The Lens concept describes my return to the medium, embracing a completely new approach to the art of producing lasting imagery to a brand new audience.

In 2022, I joined the Australian Photographic Society (APS) and began to compete in national and international exhibitions. In 2024 I attained the honour of Fellow with the APS and also gained the Artist FIAP Distinction from the Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique (FIAP).
